The game

Snap Sub is free to play at snapsub.obriengames.com. You can dive as a guest. Sign-up and the shared leaderboard are optional.

Ads

Advertising pays for the game. Ads may show to guests. Watching an ad or creating an account is never required to dive. Some board ranks and new sign-ups get a stretch with ads off. That is a perk, not a store. Google will provide the advertising system and may process device and ad-interaction data under its own policies. Our Privacy page explains the difference between that advertising data and the rankings account information we collect.

Accounts

To appear on Online Rankings you must be 13 or older and confirm an email. We keep a phone number on file so you can link another machine later. Scores and account flags live on our servers. A best on this device can stay local if you never join.

Rewards Club credits are only for signed-in players 18 or older. Younger players can still join the board. Credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.

You can unlink a machine at any time. That drops the session on that device. It does not wipe local play or mute the game.

The board

Public names and best scores are shown here. We may hide, ban, or remove a name that breaks these terms or looks automated. Bans end the online session. Hide-from-rankings leaves play and ads settings alone.

Your data

We store the name, age, email, phone, board name, scores, and flags needed to run the game and the board. We do not sell or rent that information, give it to advertisers to build an advertising profile, or use it for unrelated marketing. In the game you can unlink a machine or remove your online data. Remove deletes the account. We keep only a thumbprint of that phone so a later sign-up with the same number can join, without the new-name ads-off perk. Deletion is self-service from a currently linked game. We do not provide private account information about one player to another person or process account-data requests by email. Fair use

Play for fun. Do not attack the service, scrape it hard, or submit scores that did not come from the game. We can refuse service when that happens.
